http://mmb.maverick.to/gallery/showimage.php?i=3930&original=1&c=68 found this in the gallery and it was at the 2007 Nationals.... anyone know who it belongs to? Note the Maryland tags...
That'd be mine... WOW Someone asked about my car.. Why are you asking... what's wrong with it...LOL But seriosuly it is mine, matter of fact it is out in the parking lot here at work... I drive her almost every day, when I am not driving the 73 or the occasional carpool in with the wife (kinda rare) Whatcha wanna know about my little yellow rose???
That is not the original Color and I have no idea what color yellow the paint that is on it now is... The original color of the car was that off yellow/gold color I think the called it medium harvest gold.... but that is no where close to the color it is in that picture... Good news is Doug Bauer's Yellow Comet GT is less than half a shade different in color and I am pretty sure that is the original color on his Comet or he will at least know the paint number/code.. Let me see if I can find the picture of my Maverick and Doug's Comet side by side so you can see the two color yellows together (really...honestly they are really less than half a shade different)
here's one picture. Mine looks a little brighter in this pic I think because it's closer to the camera and the way the sun is hitting it.. There are other pictures of them side by side and they are really close in color
Get the color of the Comet from Doug and add a little key lime pie to it and you got the color of mine hahahahaha
cool beans. Thanks for the info! the reason i asked is for reference when i go to paint my new '72 driver...
I'm Sorry that you had to put up with that for 3 months, but on the plus side I see you did the smart thing and got the freak out before you grew any roots here.... I used to be proud to be a Marylander but in the past 5-10 years this state has gotten worse and worse JMHO (sorry other Maryland people) I admit it does have quite a few nice things about the state it's self but as a whole, I honestly am looking forward to the day that I am living out in Montana away from the Madness that has developed here in Maryland over that past handful of years. Montana reminds me of a however larger version of the way Maryland used to be when I was a kid... More laid back, people are friendlier and just a much nicer environment over all...
