Is their anyone out there selling new dash pads, not the plastic overlays. I made the mistake of buying a plastic dash overlay and before it came, I removed my dash padding (bad move). I didnot realize the plastic dash overlay fits over your old dash padding.

No one makes or sells new dash pads for Mavs. Your best bet is to find another used one and put your cap over it. You should be able to find a cracked original here for cheap. Nice uncracked originals go for big bucks, though.

The other option is to find one in halfway decent condition and send it to Just Dashes. Still not a cheap option.:)

they do great work but are expensive. They did my Friend's '70 Challenger 340 6 pack T/A dash. Those Chrysler dashes are like one big Pad.....so a maverick pad should be easy for them. I would expect a bill of $300.00 or more though.

Those plastic covers fit nice and look great. You have to really look to tell there is one covering the original pad. I doubt a non maverick owner would even notice....

You might check with Mavaholic. He's in Crownsville Md. and has lots of parts. Not sure how far that is from you but he may have a good used pad you can get, either a good one or maybe one with a crack so you can use your dash cap. The caps work great and look like a new dash. A lot of guys are using the caps on here. Good luck with it. (y)

Just dashes does excellent work, sort of. I had one made for my Sprint back in 2002. Cost back then was $440. $50 of that was to color match the blue color. While the craftsmanship is top notch, the edges are not quite as sharp as the factory. Something nobody would notice unless I pointed it out. I have 4 black padded dashes. 2 are in excellent condition and 2 have minor defects. You are probably less than 30 minutes from me.
