I know not everybody that wants to come can, or for those of you that are just plain curious. If I took the time to Shot a video of all the Cars and owners and the extra curricular activity not to mention the Drag racing. Would you be interested in buying it. It would be non profit or very low profit say 2 bucks over the cost to create per unit. DVD or video cassette. I am new at the computer editing but have had alot of expierence with journalism and sound. It will not be professional but i think I can deliver a pretty good product. If anybody would be interested in helping as well. I just think it would be a pretty cool to look back in a few years and see how much we progress with this event. So I am not stepping on any toes I will only do this with the authority of The MCCI only. SO what do you all think???? Comments and Opinions welcomed.(y)

I think it sounds like an outstanding idea. Would be very neat to be able to view in later years.

    Outstanding Idea!!!!!

Lance, I would be game for a DVD version (quality will last longer), I have been bummed every since Dave's cookout when I found out this year's Round-UP is the same weekend of my family reunion, and I am hosting it so, I can't back out.

So, the video idea would give me something to look forward, since I know I can't make it. Make it happen guy!!! (y) (y)

I love the idea!:yippee: It's very unlikely that I could ever make it down to Round -Up, so it might be the only way for me to at least feel like I was there. Count me in for either a DVD or a cassette.

I've been gonna put my drag race footage from last year on a DVD for months now, still haven't had time to sit down and get it done. I wanted to do something nice and not just throw the footage onto disc, but so far, that's all I've managed to get done. Have talked to John about ways to make sure this year's is much better.

It sounds like the interest is here so as long as the "big boys" are ok with it then it will happen. Maverick-matt if you want to help me or I help you(depending on the perspective) I think that would be cool(y)

FYI ... I have all of the software and hardware necessary to edit video and burn DVD's ... Using a MiniDV CamCorder would help out with the final quality since it will be digital from beginning to end ...

I'd love to have either dvd or vhs since I probably won't get to make it this year myself. It would be neat to see the cars and owners that come..........even if some of them are uglier than I am! :biglaugh: :biglaugh: :biglaugh:
