Will the c4 from these 6cyl mavericks work behind a 302 ? I assume that it may need a bell housing change, I was told some c4s you can't change the bell housing my maverick is a 71 colum shift 200ci maverick. Would really like to do the 302 swap, just want to know if I should be looking for a transmission as well or just a bell housing torque converter and flywheel.

You'll need to use the v8 bell and torque converter.,.. Assuming you don't beat on it, will last at least for awhile, the 200 6cyl version has less clutches than the V8 versions...

Get one from a 250 and it will bolt right up and work fine foe a driver.

Thanx guys, I think I'll end up buying a complete foxbody an use engine, trans and rear end, that way I have more aftermarket options, and can build it a littel stronger. Thank you for the advice
