    I got the block and pistons back from the machine shop tonight, port work on the heads has been done and the cam is in, new meat on the rear, engine goes back in the car Wednesday night.
    If the sun,moon and stars are in place Saturday that 5.89 timeslip is gonna bite the dust:yup:

    New tires might take a few passes to get good and ready, but its definitely got a great chance!

    that reminds me. :D ...Mr. Porter will have to run brake only during the bracket race at the Round-up :evilsmile Atleast that way us old footbrake guys will have a slim chance :bouncy: of beating him :yup:

    I hadn't given it much thought but your right John, that must be why I wired a box bypass switch in.;)
    I also welded in the frame rails for Dennis's seat and harness, I need someone to do the camera work when I spot you a full second :D :rofl:

    trying to talk to wife into racing the yellow mav....if she won't I will pull double duty :D
    I did take the exhaust off the black car, do not need it aymore now that I have a street car :)

    John picture this...I draw you and the yellow car in the first round...you dial a 15.60...I dial a 5.60..no no no...don't picture that...I talked about racing Dennis last year on this board right up until the Roundup..and who did I draw in the first round:49: I'm keepin my mouth shut this year. I'd redlight having to spot a car 10 seconds:90:
    Terry as long as the wheelie bars are on the back you don't have to worry about my right foot gettin the jitters.;)

    I know what you mean, I think I gave Frahler 1/2 track this past year....sure makes it hard to wait for the tree. Thats were the cross-over box would make a world of difference (y)

    Forecast ...rain tomorrow...bummmer:16suspect ...engines goin in the morning, I think we will have it fired off by the time the gates would have been opening.
