Will this bolt up?

Now I'll ask nicely in advance, please don't buy this out from under me. With that out of the way, do you think this will bolt on the same as the 71-73 gas caps?

Yeah, I've seen one Mav with a similar Mustang flip cap, bolts up but it's larger in diameter than the center raised area of the tail panel is tall. Looks kinda funny.
