I removed the window chrome on the 2dr several years ago using an old bottle opener. It worked great with no real damage. My question: what is the best way to re-intstall? Rubber hammer? As you know it basically snaps into place. Also, I'm still not having much luck with polishing the chrome. I'm using a buffing wheel and a white compound and blue compound. It is better than before but it certainly doesn't look new.

Rubber mallet works fine. I would hold a towel over it as you pound.
