By window frames are they referring to the removable trim?
That comes off, there are specialty tools for removing it
from the front and rear windows. The door frames is what
I thought the guy was referring to removing-as in completely
removing the metal supports for the window when it is in the up
position. The stainless trim will come off of that as well as the
gutters around the top of the door. You have to have gentle
touch and hold your mouth right to keep from bending them.

Cool ... a grabberized small bumper stallion ... although I think it would have looked better with a standard hood and comet GT scoop ...

Every piece of trim can come off ... Stallions had black trim from the factory .... if you want to paint your factory trim black just make sure you sand it with like 240 grit paper and use adhesion promotor to make sure the black paint sticks ...

That's Dan Starnes Stallion. It looks really fantastic with the smaller bumpers and Grabber hood.(y)

Up until last year he had a snorkel hood on it. He changed the hood at the same time he converted to small bumpers. Nice Sprint in the background. :D

BTW, my Sprint did not come with any stainless trim other than the windshield and back window. I added all the side and gutter trim. If your not planning on keeping the trim, you dont have to be real careful when removing it, although you might be able to sell it.

Thanks for the pic Juan. I was thinking of removing the entire metal frame when the window is in the up position, but I am yet to hear one person in favor of it, so I'm thinking I'll leave them on and paint the frame. My chrome is allready off and bent, my special tools consisting of a screwdriver and malet, so I'm rather commited to the no chrome look.
