It looks to be all Maverick /Comet and Pinto/Bobcat. (Google search) It is for the rear pop-out side windows. "D0..." would indicated it's use started in 1970.
I was trying to determine if it fits all years Maverick and Comet. I have both the Mercury and Ford master parts catalogs and that number doesn't appear in either one.
I am trying to recall if I have ever seen another color other than black. Doubt it, but there might be. If so, the last character is likely color. What numbers do you show? The Google search seemed to indicate it covers all Mav/Pinto, but not pickup trucks.
this is why I was wondering about this part number. item number 373491532892 on e -bay shows a part that does not resemble a Maverick/Comet window latch, even though the box shows the D0DZ part number. Any thoughts?
Somebody had a loose inner door handle and an empty box, read the word "Latch" and figured they go together. Not even close. If you need one, I probably have a few. They may not be in the best shape. I have at least three pairs of rear windows here.
That's kind of what I thought, wrong part in box. I just didn't recognize it as the inner door handle until you mentioned it. Thanks
