They look right. I would guess they would work on all years.

The yellow ones are the best. I'm going to order some tomorrow at the local auto parts suppy store. I just took all the chrome off my front and rear windows on the Grabber. I have some leaks that need to be sealed. FYI ... I have ordered these before and they are $7 for a box of 50 ...

    Fyi

Guys I bought the clips Off Ebay & can not get them to work. They will not stay snaped on the studs. I snap them on & then snap my chome off & then the clip & the chrome pop off. (Anyone else had this problem?) I tried tweking them with needle nose pliers but no luck. I took the advise of another thread & ordered the #8084085's from Car Quest. I will get those tomorrow. Sounds like several people have used those successfully.:yup:

Are they the yellow ones? Here are the ones I highly recommend .. the brown ones suck (I don't have any of them to take a picture).

The aftermarket are the dull yellow ones in the picture ... Ford Originals are Bright Yellow but they are the same ...

When I was in Carlisle last week, I was looking at one of those clip guys booths, and he had different ones for different years of Mavericks. I wish I could remeber what the bins said, I didn't get any because the 73 bin was empty.
I'll call my Ford parts guy tomorrow and see wht he says. Thanks for the number.

I can definitely tell you the yellow ones are the best. They LOCK onto the retainer in your window opening and are very difficult to get off if installed properly.

The retaining peg must be clean ... make sure there is no window sealant or other goop on the peg or below the peg. These clips will then audibly SNAP on and be held VERY TIGHT against the window opening. Use a reveal moulding tool to pull them away from the opening as you slide your chrome into place. And yes ... installing and removing the chrome moulding is a test of patience ... use lots of masking tape for protecting your paint .... I have a 2 inch long scratch on my Grabber since I didn't use the tape.

    My winshield seals leak.

How DO you remove the chrome w/o tearing anything up?
