I'm getting ready to put a new windshield and rubber gasket in my old maverick. It leaks water inside on drivers side when it rains. Is ther anything I should be aware of b4calling the installer out, such as if theres rust underneath it might interfere with a good seal,or any other advice.:coco:

If there is any rust under the current seal you need to get rid of the rust.

Be aware it also could be the air vents in the cowl. They sometimes rust out and need to be repaired. Just thought I would throw that out there.
