windshield seal

    from another thread, and to expound upon the issue specifically, what can you do to prep the windshield/rear window openings to ensure a good seal? I don't want to caulk all over after the fact like lotsa folks do to their Mavs and Mustangs, looks like crap and it usually doesn't last anyway. Is it one of those magical things that either works or doesn't for no apparent reason (like rearview mirror glue?)

    I have not done it but will have safelite come out in a few months. Any info before then may help so I can tell him how to do his job. :rolleyes:
