I feel kina like a dork but here it goes...I need to knoe how to remove the windshield trim and more so put it back on any advice on this is helpful to me. thanks Alex
You slide one of the points under the trim and find the clips that hold the trim on, and slip it under and behind the clips, pry up and the trim comes loose. You pretty much just pound it back on. Gotta do it gently over each clip to keep from bending the trim (it bends EASILY, from experience...)
Those clips will pull out of the goop that's holding the windshield in. At least that's how they were on mine.
once you see how the first one goes, the rest are pretty easy. i haven't tried the putting back on yet.
Works best with new clips. A gentle pressure right over each clip. I tried to pound mine and ended up with a fist mark in it. Then it flew off on the higway because it didn't snap all the way on after it bent. You might have to put on more "goop" to make the clip stick outward to accept the trim.
