It's almost time to get my Mav out of the garage where I work at, so I was thinking about bringing it to my driveway and cover it with a good car cover but I'm concerned about moisture inside the car. I'm not worried about the seats and headliner those can be cleaned plus I'll start it up and put the heater on when ever I have a chance. What I'm really worried about is the metal rusting like the roof inside because I never took the headliner down so I'm sure there's almost no paint to protect it .the doors and quarter panels have a light coat of undercoat plus a mix of grease and oil i spayed on them, inside the cowl vents and on the floor (under the car) So If you guys have any suggestions I'm all ears/eyes I know it's just a car but I just hate rust!
I use to store my 74 Grabber outside, in the winter for years. I had one of those good breathable covers, and never had any moisture issues, and that car still has all the factory weather stripping. If it's cold enough, any moisture will freeze anyways. The only thing I use to do, was get the underside oil sprayed, and kept it full of gas (long before I knew about Stabil) Once the weather starts getting better, pull the cover, and let the car get some sun.

damprid is a moisture absorber it comes in a plastic cup you open it up poor it in the cup and let it sit it will suck the moisture out of the air sounds strange but it works i got mine at manards brad
