Hello, I have a brown wire with a female end coming into the car right near and over the diver-side heater duck out let. I check it with a light, no power with key on or off, I found a cut ground wire that was near the left side of the steering :drive:column. Also found a cut ground wire under the driver side hood hinge. Dose anybody have these wires in there Mavs?

    Thanks
    Tony

I had 2 wires with no power too. I don't remember the colors but it turned out they ran from the oil pressure sending unit and the engine temp sending unit. If someone put in after market gurages, i'd look at those.

Can't help you with the cut ground, but the brown wire should be hot when the parking lights are on, it's a feed to the floor shift illumination bulb for cars that had it. Otherwise it should remain taped up in the harness...
