My daughter has been racing the Mustang this year, I got the need to race so I pulled the Maverick out. It's been under the car cover for a couple of months. Went through a tough field of race cars (with a low 9 sec street car) Took out the two fastest cars, 6.03, and 6.18 dials, and in the final took out the points leader! Nice $600.00 payday. My kid made it to the 1/4's in Quick Foot Brake, nephew went some rounds too.
link to results http://www.texasraceway.com/main.asp?page=results look under Foot Brake .. Only bad thing, they have my car listed as the Mustang, poor Mav gets no credit!

The car has a stock 86 Tbird 302, with a set of self ported late model Mustang heads on it. Nothing special...

must be 1/8th mile. when you first said low 9 sec street car, i was thinking thats got to be some killer car to run low 9s and be a street car. then i saw the other cars were running in the 6s and realized its 1/8th mile not 1/4 mile.
    congrats on the win.
