Got the headers out today ... forgot what a bear the z-bar is ... Tomorrow the factory manifolds go in. Amazing how much space you have to work down there without the headers in the way ...
I have a Y-PIPE ... gonna leave it up to the exhaust guy whether he wants to just cut the Y and attached it to the existing dual exhaust setup or run new down pipes ...
I am behind here......you're doin' away with the headers and goin' back to cast manifolds? Just wondering. And yep.......lot's of room without headers!!
Now you've got me wondering, D. I thought you were going back to bone -stock (to the "T"), but you're keeping the dual exhaust??? Heck, I would've left those headers on there too then. You just need something to occupy your mind - get yourself another Maverick project
Well ... got it all buttoned up and running. All I have left to do is retighten the manifold bolts once it cools and install the factory engine hoist hooks then get it down to the exhaust shop.
