Headlights are burning a bit "yellow" to my liking. Seems they should be brighter. Any hiddne grounds I should be looking for or any thoughts/experience on how to improve them?

Likely only have partial voltage to the lamps due to the aging wiring. Search headlight relay upgrade here on the forum. It will be one of the best safety upgrades you will do.

If they are standard bulbs (not Halogen or anything else) then they will be "yellowish".
