Yesterdays project...Mirrors

    Here's the project I worked on yesterday. Mounting different mirrors on the Mav. Had to fab a couple pieces of bar stock but it was fairly simple and straight forward. Here are the results.

    Missing my old '70 Maverick
    Looks like a good job. I'd like to see a picture of it from a distance and when it's all painted.

    Think you can have that to us by the end of the day? ;)

    What did the mirror come off of?

    You sir are correct! I have to get some different screws that are shorter than the studs that were in the mirrors. On the inside of the door Im going to make a triangle piece to cover that area so none of the brace and such will be visiable. Im converting the mirrors to electric so I only have to drill a small hole in the upper part of the door for the wires to run through.

    As soon as I get the Mustang II front end installed, the suspension setup, the rear suspension setup, the engine and trans installed...I'll pull it out of the garage and take some pics.

    They are some aftermarket mirrors for an S-10 I believe.
