You know what I really hate? It's buying parts I won't use! I get these ideas in my head , start gathering all the parts I need for what I want to do :woohoo1:, then I sit down and look at the big picture :coffee:, and decide that I'm better off to quit now, save the money and just continue what I had started to do in the first place before I changed my mind:slap:. I know it's hard to understand.

I think we are all guilty of that at times.

Dave, your not alone. The longer the restoration takes the more you change your mind. I have some parts that I have restored that I am no longer going to use. I would sell them but I could not get the money out of all the time I have in them.

Yeah, I know what that is like. I have a project I bought the parts for over 2yrs ago, and now that I want to finish it, I have lost the parts in a move. Oh, well, back to the drawing board!

Sounds like me buying all the stuff to go EFI, then buying a carb and intake, then not wanting that intake because I want the air gap. Or buying the serp belt brackets and pullies, and deciding to go V belt instead...:yup: I just chalk it up to part of the fun of building a car. Just save the stuff for the next mav and you'll already be parts ahead. At least thats what I tell myself.(y)

I have never bought parts I didn't use...even those heads I ported and ate into the water jackets...they are in the attic helping to hold the roof on in case of a hurricane :D
