    i tried to install the transmission lastnight. me, a friend and a transmission jack. it went in ok but when it was time to bolt it up, we ran into problems. the converter studs wouldent come through the flexplate far enough. out comes the transmission and off comes the flexplate.



    THE TRANSMISSION SHOP GAVE ME BACK THE WRONG CONVERTER!
    I have had the thing for 6 months and it was the wrong one all along.:yikes:

    i've had the paint on the...snout...not let the converter seat in the end of the crank.
    ...the wrong...splin...on converter...
    ...the wrong...dia...snout on the converter...

    i now...test fit...everything before i go for the install.
    ...converter to flexplate...
    ...converter to transmission...
