we went inside and he googled it up and couldn't find out anymore than I already knew.
he did say they were listing them under $20K. I read an article recently posted to Ford Performance talking about the Maverick on it's 50th birthday.

In this article, the author talks about the original concept design for the Maverick, and said that the concept was originally sketched by code named "The Delta" by Virgil M. Exner, Jr, but I can't find any more information on this. If I'm reading the article correctly, this might have been around 1967 or so?

I know that Ford use the call the Maverick the "Falcon Maverick"...
