I read a post a few weeks ago, on removing the windshield and how difficult removing the trim was. well it was my day to fight the clips and the goo and the ultimate fear of breaking the windshield. I'm spent. Tomorrow The back glass awaits.

I stripped the interior and glass out of the Grabber last night.

I too fought the damn windshield, the seal, and the goo. I ended up having to take a hammer to the corner of the glass to pull it out. Took me over an hour to scrape 80% of the crap off. Stuff is satan!

Back window is super easy, just take a flat head screw driver and slowly lift the edge and it should pop out extremely easy.

I cut my old seal, glass came right out, it was the clips and all the goo, I think at one point in time some one added more goo at the bottom. I'm having a glass company come to my house to install the glass when I get it cleaned up and the new seals get here form interweb.
looks like you have most of your stuff sold levi.

Scrape off as much as you can, then use mineral spirits to clean off the rest. It just kind of dissolves the remaining goo. I've got the front cleaned up and still have half of the back to do.

I installed my Wilwood clutch master cylinder, remote reservoir and my original pedals. It was a real pain installing the master by my self...lol. I copied (markso125) idea of drilling a new hole in the clutch pedal and using a hiem joint to connect to the master. It has full travel with no binding. It was a good day... The slave cylinder is easy thanks to the bracket Rosehill Performance sells, just bolts on the side of the t5.

took a shortcut up a country road and came up on a licenses check point. as I pulled up (3rd. in line) and was rolling the window down ( A/C on) two Sheriff deputies walked up and said..."that thing sounds good". one looked at my driver licenses the other one look to see that the tag was current. as the one handed me my licenses back he said..." have a nice day Mr. Cooper and try to keep it under a hundred"...I smiled and replied..."I'll try"...
as I idled off it chirped a little as it shifted into 2nd...I looked in the mirror and all 4 were standing there looking back at me...:D

    ...:drive:...

Well I finished making all the fuel lines and connections so I figured is fill the rad with water... All 4 corners of my damn intake leak. Only thing I can think of is that I used the wrong gasket. So now I got to take everything apart and re-do them. Not that excited.. Weather should be good this up-coming Saturday though so I'll also trailer it for exhaust and wheel alignment.
