Anyone else get theirs? I've heard nothing from them.

i got mine a week ago. it looks like a normal thick sway bar. im going to work on making the 2nd one work. i got into this for the adjustable aspect. once and if i get the second one to work for me, this one will be come available. at the current rate of lack of progress on my car, it going to be a while.

    My latest Email from them:

    Hey guys,

I’m so sorry, I’ve moved to a different department but our wonderful IT people can’t seem to get my email moved, so I finally had to sneak back down to the shipping department.

I just got off the phone with the supplier and here is where we stand: The rod ends will be delivered to us today and the fine thread bolts that go with them will be here tomorrow. I’m not going to be able to get the little spacers that go on the rod ends for a couple more weeks, so we are going to substitute with some flat washers (which I’m assured will work), but if anyone prefers the spacers, we can send those when they arrive (but again, I’m being told 2-3 weeks on them.)

I am sorry that it has taken so long to get this stuff in, but your hardware kits call for parts that are not standard stock, so I had to special order them and didn’t realize how long they would take to arrive.

Please let me know if you need anything else, but bear in mind I don’t have constant access to my email right now, so it may take me a day or two to respond.

Thats funny. The bar we are getting does not need the spherical rod ends or any other special hardware. Just the standard end links.

Is this going to be a product they stock, or just a limited run? I saw they have one option listed online, is that the same thickness as the stock bar and is it any better?

The new sway bar is alot bigger then the stock one. If you like handling, the new one is better.
I also used longer spacers to try to get part of the bar closer to the body of the car. My bar looks the same as Chris bar in the picture, but it looks like he used shorter spacers.

The one in the catalog is either stock or 7/8. Not 1-1/8. I have an extra 1-1/8 bar. PM if interested.

Looking into it I don't think this is something I need, but I appreciate the offer. I wasn't sure what size the stock one was in relation to the Addco advertised one at 7/8". If the 7/8" is an improvement and enough to take care of some of the body roll for normal cornering, that's good enough for me.

I have a 7/8 as well. Just let me know. Stock is 5/8. It is noticeably better.

    Stock is 3/4".
A 7/8" was optional in the mid to late '70s (don't know the exact year).

I got this from Samantha today. I have no idea what she is talking about. I have not installed my bar. Are we missing something?

    Micah

I am so sorry, I was moved to another department and my replacement did not keep up with your hardware as well as I had hoped. It will ship out today on UPS tracking # XXXX.

We still have not been able to get in the spacers for the rod ends (I think I told we don’t normally carry them in that size), so I have included the washers that we discussed before. Again, I am really sorry for the delay, I know that you guys have been through the wringer with Addco and I’ve tried to get you straightened out as best as I can. Please let me know if there is anything else that I can do.
