Beautiful car. How much are you looking to get out of it? Can you post some more pics of it?

    Hi,
I have to sit down and seriously contemplate what I would take for it. Just kinda started thinking about selling it the other day so I haven't got a number yet. I have over 100, 000 into the build and yeah I know most of that I will never recoup. So now I just have to figure out how much of a loss Im willing to take. I will post some more pics later today, I gotta get them organized.. Stay tuned-- I'll get it all figured out-- there isn't anything like it out there to compare it to for a price, so its gonna be a little tricky in the selling field.
thanks for your questions.. I'll get some pics going.
    Terri

Wow, did you do all of the work yourself or have a shop do it for you? I agree I've never seen anything quite like it.

The car is serious nice. I believe it will get a good number. What that is, hard to say, but there is someone that will love that car and respect the quality of the build. The color, while I like it on that car, may turn off a segment of people. But you know there is someone out there that will love how unique that car is color and all.

$100k in any well built hot rod isn't hard to do. That's why I am glad I can do most of it all and not have to pay to have things done. Paying to have a good car built costs big $$

The question is always, how much is the seller willing to lose. The big dollar cars (hot rods, pro touring cars) will in most cases only bring $.50 on the dollar sadly.

    Good luck with the sale!

    Glenn

I did about half the work--all the easy stuff--- the complete tear down, the shifter, put the motor together, the carpet and stuff that you don't have to weld -- hahaha..
I had a rod and customs shop do the 4 link and remove the shock towers, do the mustang 2 front end , move the battery to the back, and and the paint.

Thanks Glenn for your nice comments--- yeah the color is one that people either love or hate-- it doesn't photograph well ) looks way more pink and the blue pearl doesnt show) but in person it pops. I've had people ask why I would pick that color, but when I was building it, I did it for me not for other people-- little girls and women all love it and guys who don't have issues with purple and pink say they love it. My husband isn't a " pink guy" but he loves this paint. I guess myt feeling was, if I liked a car but not the color, I could always repaint it.. haha.. its not permanent. So I picked a wild one.
Yeah, its awful to have to pay shop prices, but I wanted it done right and Im not skilled enough to do it. So I bit the bullet and had a quality shop do the work. If youre gonna be a bear might as well be a grizzley bear-- right?
I just need one "right" buyer who loves it..
    Its all fun..

Will get more pics up soon--its been a busy week so far. I used an Art Morrison 4 lonk.. tried to find the exact numbers for it the other day as someone asked but I cant locate that paper. Im still looking tho. Im pretty sure we just called them and told them the car and the dimensions and they told us the right one.. that makes it easy. ;)

you have to treat it like a custom built hot rod not a maverick when selling. if you title the sale and most of the description with maverick as the predominate description people will automatically discount the value of the car. using words like custom hot rod, muscle car, pro touring, show winning, magazine car, ect will get bigger amounts of money. definitely include that fact that it has magazine exposure. look over the car adds on ebay, racing junk, and other sites and see how people describe the cars and see how much they sell for. also you may want to look at hemmings.

So...if you were to put it on the market, what sort of $$$ would you be chasing? Two in my garage wouldn't be too many
