Pulled the fenders off the sprint... going to strip the front end down and replace the right side front apron and core support with a rust free one that came with the car...

Mavgrab302, If interested, I have a left side front apron "front" that was cut out of a good car (everything in front of the shock tower). It was requested by my body man, but he decided not to use it. I will sell it for what I paid ($100) plus shipping (around $30). Pic is before cut, I will need to get a pic of the cut piece if interested.

Thanks for the heads up. This was one screwed up tranny during rebuild. I was told the final assembly used a 1964 C-4 guts, but no idea what the housing is. The only good thing here is that I haven't bought my drive shaft yet!

I'd want to verify that as I believe the '64 C4 valve body/case is unique and also has the double drive range(D1 & D2 or green & white dots) vs PRND21... The '65 & '66 also use the old Cruise O Matic pattern VB but if I remember correctly, case is same as '67-'69(which used the PRND21 pattern)... For '70-up case, VB and input shaft changed again...

After I got the Tranny in, the next thing was the shifter. Surprise, it doesn't fit my floor pan plate bolt holes. I bought this car as a disassembled project car. I have no idea what I got in the pile of junk I got, but alot of it doesn't match. Ughhh. I'm going for an entirely new 67-68 Mustang Floor Shifter kit and hope this problem goes away completely. More $.

Does the lower housing with the shift lever fit? That piece screws to the shifter body, or am I just not seeing it?

    Injectedmav,
Thanks, you just paid for my subscription to the forum x 5! Yes, the shifter body fits this bolt pattern and the cover screws into the body fine. Pretty soon I'll know how to spell YDS.

Finally got some work done to the car this last week! I started out the week by removing the factory wiring harness and heater box and just gutting the interior in general. I also removed the radiator head lights and grille, its not much but its something. Today I also decided to re-vinyl the dash pad. finally getting some work done on the car.
