Tim got here about 9:30 AM. we started pulling the front end down, went to lunch and was done by 2 oclock...:thumbs2:

I took the parts down to Harolds shop and glassbeaded all the parts to be powdercoated. the rest of the parts were cleaned up in his solvent tank...:)
the plan tomorrow is to clean up the wheelwells and paint them.

FedEx Ground dropped off my new Moog UCA's. Didn't have to drive his truck out of my long icy driveway this time.

I had my rear bumper and the boomerangs plated by Jon Wrights in Grafton, Ohio. This place is super expensive, but the work is better, much better, than I have ever seen from any plating shop. The boomerangs are flawless, as is the bumper. This place is used my many of the ultra high end restoration shops and the UPS truck is there everytime I showed up. Not your typical rechrome shop.

I have to find a perfectly straight front bumper core now as mine is a straightened C+ rechrome from another shop. It won't cut it after seeing Jon's work.

I really need to get a garage with a post lift and really clean workspaces like the people have on this forum. They are badass shops... I'm jealous... Oh yea, I'm supposed to talking about what I did on my car.... Sorry I digress.. Awesome looking boomerangs rotor 22, I just realized mine on my car are missing. Guess I need to find them...

Ups delivered my new JW performance, externally balanced flexplate for my 347. Thanks to Strokermav on this site for guiding me in the right direction on this one. Putting a internal balance plate on an externally balanced engine would not have been good...

ran into a situation with my spindles...after cleaning them in the parts washer I glassbeaded them, took and cleaned up the casting marks on the belt sander. from there I used a 4" sanding disk to finish the cast marks. took files (remember the cast iron exhaust manifolds?) and am now filing everything smooth. I have one filed smooth and needle scaled back to the cast texture, should have the other one ready for powdercoating later today...caliper brackets are next...:whew:
