Interesting - I'll have Stefan take a look at it as it is just pictures posted from other threads here at the forum .................
Im not sure what happened there. I could see the picture if edited the post, but would not see once I re-saved the post. i "fixed" the issue by taking a screen shot and pasting a new image.
exide makes a black flat top 3 year , the real battery only has a 90 day warranty, I'm going with the cover (drake)and exide battery, just was wondering if the posts would be long enough, didn't know how thick the plastic would be, thanks
The stock negative cables runs over to the inner fender, under an L shaped bracket that secures the battery hold down to the inner fender, then over to the voltage regulator where a ground tab mounts to one of the VR mounting bolts. From there the cables goes down and bolts to the engine block. If you look at this picture of a cable set, you will see the negative with that center mounting tab. Look at that picture above with the cover on and you will see the route of the cable off the battery. Hope this helps!
It is a 1 piece cable with a tab in the center of it - take a look at that picture of the cable set again - it is a 3 piece set. There is a negative, a positive, and the starter cable
so the neg goes from the battery to the block ? does it separate at any point , thanks for the picture.
