    My Vin is, 7K92F155872 1977 Ford Maverick. Does anyone know how to decode it? Im wondering if the Engine is the original.

    It's should be a 302 but to see if it is original you need to see if the engine has the Vin # on the engine block.

    Agreed! Partial VIN is usually stamped in the top of engine block just behind intake, above bell housing.
