So, I ended up picking up an '03 Lincoln 4.6 32v engine and a 6-speed Tremec recently.
I'm pretty sure someone here as already done the swap, so I'm wondering what all would be needed to make it work?
Are there any kits, engine mounts and such, availible to make the job a little easier?
Is an AJE front suspension kit and notching the towers the way to go? I would rather not go Mustang II.
What about engine management systems? Any plug and play EFI-kits availible?
I would rather ask here before trying and failing myself :)

Dunno, not a mod motor fan but I can tell you to fit one of those beasts, you'll have to remove towers completely...

If you have Facebook the man you need to talk to is Howard Forbes. He put a 4.6 Lincoln Aviator motor with a Procharger and a 4R70W trans in his Maverick.

He brought it to my MCCI Mini Meet last month. I thought he had posted about the car in here but didn't see it right off. I may have overlooked the thread.

The car I mentioned above still has shock towers, though they have been trimmed considerably. I'm at work now and unable to post any pics. I will try and post them after I get home.

I'm surprised you haven't seen the car before, the guy lives in the same city as you (Chesapeake, VA).

You just have to drop it from a high enough altitude.

I know I’m a little late to the game here, but I’m doing some research on the same swap.. I’ve got the 72, and the 94 Mark VIII, but looking on FB for Howard, there’s either 25 of them in a general search, or more specifically searching in VA, I find nothing... I’m a Fabricator by trade, and have a MII complete IFS, but more looking for anything to be more aware of jumping in both feet first....
