Hi guys , I picked up a set of Granada spindles complete. But another maverick guy told me that they will not work on my 70 . My maverick buddy up in nor cal said they will .. I’m a bit confused here . Any tips. ?
The early '70(69.5) used suspension like other '69 models but there is no reason the Granada spindles can't be made to work... Main difference is size of spindle increased in '70 and true '70 tie rods will be required to fit into spindle arms... I have '69 Torino spindles & brakes on my '72, all I had to do was use the earlier tie rod ends...
I thought the Granada spindles were the same as late Maverick spindles? I have '76 Maverick spindles on my late '70 (3-bolt ball joint), just needed to change the outer tie rod ends.
Thank you so much guys. It means a lot. I was freaking out ; thinking I’m screwed for the front end situation
Now I’m going to pull apart the front clip. My phone is having issues uploading the Dana 44 pics in the rear
Yep, forgot about the hoses. And had to slightly reroute the hardlines, made a couple of brackets out of angled steel.
