Auto Parts Train lists the Accu Form part# 405 for $64.90. Shipping costs are high because they ship directly from the factory. When I bought mine last year shipping was about $38.00. Total cost still cheaper than the Ebay sites though. Cap fits nicely and stays in place with no adhesive.

Hey HadaGrabbernc: The caps fit nice when FIRST INSTALLED ... after the SUN bakes them a little , they may Lift or Distort somewhat since they are not secured to the base. Recommend you secure them to the existing dash pad with the proper adhesive and press them down onto the pad with rolls of Paper Towels placed in between the windshield and the Newly installed Cap ! . Let it set overnight if possible and that should do it !

I agree that could become a problem but my dash pad is not cracked and other than being a little discolored is in pretty good shape. If it starts to distort, I probably will just take it off. My interior is tan but my package tray is black so the cap looks pretty decent unpainted. I may eventually paint it and and install it using the paper towel method you recommend.

Perhaps a small strip of Double Faced Tape at the extreme lower edges of the Ends of the Cap may help hold everything in place. Wouldn't be seen .. and wouldn't distort the cap . Whadayathink ??

I like that idea. Thanks for the tip. Also, considering that many aftermarket parts for a Maverick or Comet are sometimes disappointing, I was quite pleased with the quality of the Accu Form cap.
