    Looks a little different. LOL Nothing like seeing your car for the first time after it has been painted.

    Mine is the same color almost but not shiny or put together, still in primer. Wish I had some pics of it but it is 2,500 miles away

    Yesterday I removed the vinyl top. Surprisingly, not so much surface rust. Can't wait to remove all the adhesive.

    Took Hotrock out for a short drive yesterday. First time driven since last fall. It was a nice sunny day, but it was still cool temperature wise. I just allowed enough time for the choke to open fully and then headed down the road. No hesitation or stumble even with the cold engine. Stopped at the stop sign at the end of my road. Cross road was clear, hit the accelerator and we were off.

    No squeaks, no rattles, no cares!!! You got to love our unibody cars.

    Did some more dismantle of engine bay. Also cut out passenger side floor primed and painted rails and box.

    I pulled my in tank fuel pump today and changed out the pickup hose. I did this about two years ago and the hose I took out was mushy and clasped . I saw where Gates makes a hose just for gas tanks. it only took about 6 inches but the shortest piece I could get was 1 ft....$19 a foot...:slap:

    I hope I can remember this if I ever install a submersible pump in anything. I have lots to do before I ever worry about fuel injection though.

    We sold the Contitech Instagrip version of that hose for $4 foot where I used to work.
