So i just put the AEM AFR 30-0300 gauge in and i gota say that if i knew this made tuning a carb this much eaiser id have done this 5yrs ago when i bought the car.

Ill do a quick video in a day or so, but my best tune shows i was running slightly rich. TThis allowed me To tune in about 15 minutes to the perfect air fuel ratio. I love this thing.

It also showed me that the vacuum gauge is very very close, but i always backed off a little much on the lean when i shouldnt have. Trust your vacuum gauge!

Also it allows you to see at cruise and under load whats happening.

    Things i learned.

    1 trust your vacuum gauge

2 get your transfere slots set square and then leave it alone on a 4 barrel.

3 adjust idle using secondary adjustment screw.

4 read and study all you can. Theres alwaalways more to learn.

Looks great! Definitely an incentive to continue to keep at it on mine. Hoping to find some old school cragers for mine as well. I have booked marked your build for some ideas for mine.
