Haven’t posted n a while .... but today test fit new 18x11 6.5 back space wheels for my slicks so now my front n back wheels will match . Also going to put on review mirror since I’ve made this semi-street legal as well as still being my Autocross car

Even when you’re a Stumbler with a walker gotta clean the ride . Flat blacked outside so that doesn’t matter but the underneath with the good stuff gotta take take care of . So that’s my day even when it’s 900 degrees here in GA ! AD1CE5CF-7202-427B-874A-10F17174A6B2.jpeg

Actually no , it did when I got it 4 yrs ago. But it needed some work that I wasn’t interested in doing. Being I’m disabled with limited mobility a flat bed makes more since and use ability for me personally. And hanging on to bed after taking it off wasn’t a good option for me either as I wouldn’t have help to move it around if I had to. Thx though, I really love the 70’s Ford trucks and especially the extra cabs !!!

Flatebeds are cool tooo. Didnt see the flate in pic. Yeahhh i love those 73-79 trucks too.

And glad you dont need a bed. Hard to find and aint cheap if u find.

Note....the PO replaced rusted bed on 76 with 95 bed. I'm not a big fan of the 70/90 bed combo but others love it.

My work from home got extended through the end of the year. Shouldn't have any excuses not to finish putting my engine back together.

Yesterday took my granddaughter for her 1st ever ride in Comet !!! She turned 9 this year an this was 1st ever ride in front seat . Never had a useable back seat in any of my Comets . So a great feeling having a Grandkid finally able to ride along with me !!!

Took it out for a spin, and trip to the gun range. Runs great, just waiting on my body guy to get it in and fix some rust.

Went to my first car show of the year, about 70mi. roundtrip ride. Great weather and car turnout: I was #210, arrived about noon, few cars came after me. Show was in Peotone Illinois; I met a Maverick owner from the area w/ a nice 73 LDO. Comet ran fine w/ AC working well -- I would say; "Good time had by all." Hopefully can make that show next year.
