I've look around here and couldn't find any post related to my issue. If I missed it my bad. Just replaced the brake light switch, no blown fuses, the plug to the brake switch is getting power. All other lights are working. The turn signal switch is also getting power when the brake is pushed and when the other lights are activated. The wire that goes into the tail light sockets both get power for signal, tail light but nothing when the peddle is pushed for the brake light. And they have new bulbs. Any thoughts??
... why did you replace the switch? check and see if power is coming out of the switch when brake is applied. could be a loose connection going to the tail lights.
If signals are OK, your problem is not ground related. This is a 99.9% signal sw problem, likely green wire at cam is broken inside insulation. Common problem....
