found my first blue ones yesterday! found 2 of them! Also scored on a tiger wheels sprint off off ebay! Any predictions on the next color by Hotwheels, I would have to go with red but I figgered that would have been first so maybe green or white, the collection continues!

i have took a blue one ( a Ray Charles Variant  ) took it apart and stripped the paint.

what type/brand of paint are you going to use?

That looks cool, I had one in my garage, I was going to do that to, but it fell on the floor, and I stepped on it....

    Bugboy,

If you want to see something pretty cool, polish the stripped body. It is zinc and can be polished to close to chrome. If you like it as is, shoot some clear acrylic at it ... spraybomb Krylon is fine, or you can use Future floor polish.

If you want to add some color over the polished body, try Krylon Stained Glass paint. It is like candy paint ... pretty much just tints the shine. The more you add, the darker it gets. This is a very simplified version of how the very first Redline Hot Wheels were finished. You can seal it with clear acrylic.

Sounds pretty cool. Then you can stick them on eBay and get $50 a pop for them.
