Ya I thought that pump would be perfect, but like always it was too good to be true. A stock v8 pump may still be better than a v6 pump though. I wonder if I can research that. I think I may find out that the v8 and v6 pumps are the same but with a different arm.

Well I do know that a small block Ford or small block Chevy(blasphemy!) mechanical pump shares the same bolt mount pattern as the I6 pump...other than that not sure what the differences are.

After discussing with the seller, I removed the items that were for sale in this thread. If you would like to sell items (even to local people only), please use the classifieds. Thank you.

So who's off on Monday and what are you doing? I think I'll pull the front timing cover to install a fuel pump eccentric on the front of the cam. then start putting my fuel system togethor. Then put in header flange gaskets, my friend was helping the other day and I forgot to tell him a gasket needs to go in there. And If I get really ambitious I'll start pulling wires out of the dash from the alarm and other stuff I dont want in there anymore.

    Happy holidays guys!

Ryan I am off on Monday as well, give me a call when your out working on stuff.

Other than that I am in town all weekend and mostly working in the garage spending time with family. Got to change power steering pumps on the mustang and get rid off that annowing sqweak on start up. Was hoping to swap radiators to but I am an idiot and did not get my summit order in early enough, next weekends project I guess.

So been gone a while whats going on around here?

    Tony's car running 9's yet?

Ryan still got to change that fuel filter?

Robbie, Gene, and Don still tearing up the tracks?

Oh ya, the fuel filter.:dizzy: I totally forgot about that. Ive been in the middle of this trans swap for 3 months and then planning out my new fuel system and I totally forgot to change out the element in my fuel filter. Ill try and remember to do that beforeput the filter back on the car.
