I wouldn't have the answer to that question. I think all the regulators mount the same way on early cars vs later cars? Maybe someone else could chime in?

All the bolt in regulators are the same that I have seen.

I hope so, because I need to replace my drivers side reg with a worn-out crank shaft, and the only bolt-in ones I have are from a 73. I know they don't fit in a 77 with the riveted-in regs. Not only that but the window-mounting hole spacing is different.

I didn't realize they mounted differently? I am surprised by that.

I shipped out the package today to Nu-Relcs. I will hopefully have the new ones in a couple weeks.

Also, the plastic pins for the glass changed somehow along the way ... I don't know how, but IIRC 70-72 are one style and 73 and later are different.

I just bought some NOS pins for my car and this info was in the eBay ad.

All interesting nes. I thought by doing this I would be helping out the masses. Looks like the only benefactors now will be the guys with the early cars?

I would imagine that it may only be minor changes early vs late, or may require using early glass in a late door in order to use the kit.

I have disassembled many a Maverick over the years and saved all the pins and I have never seen any differeces.

Good to know ... it was probably some really minor design or casting change if at all. The eBay ad sounded like he was quoting some other source.

Or just drill new holes in the regulator's window shelf.

I never knew the later car's regulators were riveted in. How do you adjust the glass within the frame?

Got a link? (Maybe post it in a new thread and keep this one "on topic" :D )

The regulators are not adjustable at all, whether bolt in or rivit in.

My regulators made it to Nu-Relcs on Wednesday. Here it is Friday afternoon and I just received a phone call from them saying that they are all finished making me the new power window regulators! How is that for good service!?! They were hoping to have them packaged to hit UPS today, but since the big brown truck was do there any minute the parts may not ship until Monday.

They did not just add a power motor to my regulator. These are all newly made from scratch. I will post up pictures once they arrive. I am also planning on installing them and reinstalling the glass and checking everything out. I will report back with all my findings.

    Glenn,

Have they given you any idea what the rest of us could expect to pay?
