    My condolences on your loss.

Hopefully they don't decide to come back for your other cars. That is one of the hardest thefts to prevent. Someone just loading your car onto a trailer.

Other than giving you moral support, I have posted your message on a Facebook Group called "Dearborn Flashback". Lots of good Ford enthusiasts from across North America on this site.

Good luck, and hopefully the scum-bags are caught and dealt with promptly!

That really sucks! Sorry to hear about the bad news, but hopefully it will be found in tact.

Listing on Craigslist: http://tulsa.craigslist.org/pts/3810293933.html if you can, please spread the word in as many places as possible. This car has been part of my identity for nearly half of my life. Its really a part of the family.

You guys know how it is, the "its just a car" thing is BS.

Wow! That sucks. Sorry to hear that. I get a little nervous every time I have to leave the Maverick outside of the garage at night

The sheriff's deputy was not very optimistic, saying that when cars are taken by kids, they are normally raced, parked out in the country and burned. If someone took it for money, most likely its on a semi out of town, or stripped and burnt.

If I didn't have the maverick's engine apart in the shop, the mustang would have been inside. It was taken in the middle of the day, while i was at work.

I've had the car so long it is part of the family. Most of the people who know me have never known of me driving anything else. It's part of my identity. And some punk who is too lazy to work for anything, has taken it.
If it wasnt for the broken glass, I would still be looking everywhere for where I parked it, not believing its gone. It's just not fully sinking-in that its gone.

Geeze Will sorry to hear this, makes me glad to have my security cameras up and running, I can even view them on my smart phone now from anywhere I may be, I know I can't sit and watch them all day while gone but at least if something goes missing I can see who did it, I got them from Tiger Direct for $298.00 four cameras and a recording DVR, I guess I trust then too much cuz I do leave tempting stuff easily accessible but the sign I have out front does warn of Video taping on my property, I do hope you can recover your car intact and unharmed, pics would help visually, will be watching all the forums i'm in and posting about your loss in all forums I can.

Make a call to your local TV/News station. Tell them someone is stealing classic cars/Mustangs. They may give it a bit of air-time, and it may jog someone's memory.

Are there any convenience stores or shops around your house that would have security cameras outside? It could be worth a look. A car hauler (either enclosed or with a 69 Mustang) is gonna stick-out in broad daylight.

    What are your neighbours saying?

Thanks for posting the pic Paul. For whatever reason I can't post from my phone. (Im full caveman in the tech department, no net, no cable...)

There are 2 gas stations on the road out of here. One dosnt catch the road with there cameras, the other just gets a part, but won't let me check the video.

I've allways liked my place, its location is perfect. Its close enough to town, but I'm all by myself on a big hill, on a dead-end road. Just me, my cars, some deer, lotsa trees. Problem is, the rest of the 'hood, just up the road. Some of my buddies refer to it as "Hillbilly Hell".

I'm so sorry to hear this Will. I'll pass this on to some of the guys around here. If it's still around here, hopefully we can get the word out to the Ford guys enough to find it.

Would you happen to have any part numbers or a link to the cameras/DVR you bought from Tiger Direct? I've been very intersted in purchasing something like this. Thanks :tiphat:
