First time I've seen my car since I had surgery 5 1/2 weeks ago. I cleaned her up for the car show tomorrow and while I was wiping down the wheels I snapped off the valve stem on one of them.:banghead: My buddy will have it ready for me in the morning.
Should have just taken it dirty because my back is killing me now.

Drove my Maverick out to the Peach Outlet Mall, and met some old friends from previous events, and some new ones. We had three Mavericks, and Terry's Comet show up. Missed Frank, and Jeff though, but I Really enjoyed the cruise in.

Spent the past two days at the Street Rod Nationals East. Now they allow vehicles up to 1983, used to be 1949 or older. Told my GF now that I'm a member of the NSRA I have to get a street rod. She said "no"...

Forgot to mention, just two days before the show I got my EDIS disributorless ignition up and running. Pretty neat setup. Only downside - I have the coil packs mounted on the firewwall with the plug wires coming forward. The local Ford guys say it now looks like I'm running a small block Chevy.

    long frustrating day

put in another day of rebuilding the dash fixed intermittent wiper switch. (anyone think we need a tech article on install?) switch bad not the box replaced light switch painted dash and installed a cover on pad. Anyone else have the cover crack four hours after install ? Oh and there was dropping the nut and screw down the heater core at different times after removing the speaker mount plate.
