Ordered butyl and urethane so I can get my windshield set in soon. Gonna get the top of the dash painted in the mean time.

Dash in primer. Trunk adjusted a little better. Pecked a few in/out dings down on the trunk.

    Did a lot...

1.) Stripped all the damn bondo i put on the car last year on the driver side quarter panel. Going to have a local guy redo the sheet metal instead of trying to hide the issue. That took like 4 hours.

2.) Finally got the cowl removed off the car I cut up. And welded in the vent holes.

3.) Cut off a flange that was on the front frame rails and mocked up my old ugly radiator support

4.) Took some measurements so I can have new radiator support cut out on the water jet. Going to do a clean sheet of metal.

5.) Removed the rear end and placed the car on stands. Getting ready to get the rotisserie to turn the car over and clean up the bottom of the car for under-coating.

6.) Gathered all the small parts, and misc stuff that needs to go to sand blast, and powder coat

    7.) cleaned up the garage

8.) eatting a roast beef sandwhich, fire cheetos, and drinking a pepsi.

    BUSY BUSY DAY

oh I also worked today for my job. Very productive day :D

    and last...

Went to my cousins house and looked at my old donor maverick and decided its time to take her to the scrap yard. But first going to cut the car up into tiny tiny peices.

Pictures are way to big, and I am way to lazy to re-size them. Click on each link if you care to look :D

You need to support your car on jackstands. The car can fall off the wood blocks every easily. A friend of a friend of mine got killed 2 years ago when his car fell on top of him doing the same thing that you are doing. Also you need jackstands in the middle. You're going to bend the car with it being supported on the end without the inner fenders

I replaced the spark plugs on my Maverick today. It doesn't seem like much at first, but the last time the plugs were changed was when the engine was rebuilt. That was back in 1998 and 1,3000 miles ago! The electrodes were pretty burned down but other than that the old plugs were clean. The old Maverick runs like new again.:bananaman My one neighbor needed a ride to pick up her car at the shop where she took it for a new radiator. I needed to test drive my Maverick so she got to ride in my car. I think I scared the crap out of her.:yikes: :evilsmile

I put some sound deadner in the roof today too. Just have to figure out if I want to do the headliner myself.

If you do decide to put the headliner in yourself, let me know so I can come and watch while you put it in...................I tore mine when I was taking the interior quarter panels out.....................I'd even bring the refreshments.
