Cut the windshield out of my parts car and got it cleaned up for installation in my Mav. The thing that sucked was I only salvaged about 6 of the windshield mldg clips off the parts car. I think the vinyl top my have had a grip on them which cause them to snap no matter how I removed them.

I also removed every switch and bulb out of the parts car since they are all in good shape. This parts car is quickly becoming an eye sore. I gotta get it stripped and gone soon.

Picked up the materials to install my windshield. Figure I'll give it a go myself.

Bought a 69 302 from the junkyard yesterday. Started pulling it apart today. Very clean for an untouched engine that's almost 45 years old. There's very little cylinder wear. And no marks on the retainers from the rockers. I could just about clean it and put it back together as is. I should end up with a stomping little motor soon.

This is just my everyday driver. I'm not going for all out power. My toy (67 Fairlane ht) is getting that. I'm looking to build a motor that's going to run strong for another 40 years.
