Well that's crazy cheap! If they are any good I would order a set for sure considering maverickman stopped making his :dancing:

The vehicle coverage says 70-76 but I'm fairly certain the end caps are different for the big bumper cars

The quality is not too great either and be prepared for trimming and finish work.

Also keep in mind that cheaper/thinner glas parts "move around" quite a bit as they get older too. Using cheaper resins only compounds the issues.

I wouldn't think they would be any different than putting a 71-72 spoiler on a big bumper car...you have to change the end caps for thoes...:bouncy:

These are big bumper end caps. Notice the exaggerated curl inwards at the bottom.

These are small bumper end caps. They don't even reach the bottom of the Comet tail light.

I guess I'll have to wait for Maverickman to go back in production! I did try to order the andysautosports one but backed out at the last minute after reading the posts above ........ well that and the fact that they wanted to charge me $70 shipping from Northern Calif to Southern Calif!!! I run a pretty large Internet based business so know shipping costs. I hate getting getting hosed for shipping just to take a chance this might fit.
Thank you everyone for the comments.

Thanks Bob! It's just an experiment, not sure if it'll turn out. If they weren't so ex$pen$ive. And hard to find real ones. I like your quote about your project. Cause I can relate. I'm retired now, so I've got time if I live long enough to finish projects. Take care.
