This is a very basic question but I can’t seem to find a clear answer from pictures online. I am trying to mount my rear valence and it seems that the previous owner drilled 2 holes ( one on each corner at the bottom of the valence where it meets the rear quarter panel). This doesn’t seem correct is it? If not, where are all the mounting points? I understand all the ones at the top but, with ought the bottom ones this guy put in it flaps around. Thanks in advance

There should not be any holes in the bottom corners , there should be a place on the inside bottom corner of the valance that a fastener hooks into and goes into drop down section of trunk and a nut goes on it. Sometimes these pieces break off or the fastener breaks and the easy fix is to just put a screw in, most of the time that works just fine but if valance has been bent then there is a problem no matter how it is installed

This is how my factory valance is mounted. One on each end, of course. IMG_7169[1].JPG IMG_7170[1].JPG IMG_7171[1].JPG

Thank you all for the quick reply. My fastener bracket defiantly broke off. Think I am just gonna fabricate one and weld it on so
I can use those mounting screws.
