    Hey all,

The heater core was tied back on itself when we purchased the car, so I have always assumed the core leaked. My son removed the heater and A/C components on Saturday and after getting the housing apart, we have the heater core and the A/C "core". We will take one or both by the radiator shop, but even though we aren't concerned with A/C right now, we are wanting to do things right so if we decide to get the A/C operational in the future, we don't have to get back into this component. Any suggestions on how to "store" the A/C portion, I assume we can have serviced and then cap the unit until we are ready for A/C?

    TIA,

    Chris and Gabe

capping everything should be fine. just need to make sure no moisture gets into the A/C system.
