The day has finally come! After owning my 72 Comet for 5 years and hating the rims every day since I've finally upgraded. My fiancé surprised me on Saturday, blindfolded me and took me on a ride. When we arrived she removed my blindfold and we were standing outside Summit Racing.

Since we are getting married this weekend, her gift to me was 4 brand new Cragar SS rims! I dropped the car off after work today to have them installed. As long as the weather holds out this weekend we will be leaving in the car and enjoying the new look!

Rims won't do you much good without the rest of the wheels.

Looking at the smile on his face in that pic, I would say the rims have already " done a lot of good".

To the OP, congratulations on the fiancé who understands, the wedding and the new rims!

    Congrats!

Looking at your media page, I agree that the Cragar SS wheels will look much better than the previous one's!

    Nice looking car!

Thanks! they are 15's. I plan to do the front disc break conversion next since i already have all the parts from other members on here.

I do have a keeper! I even got to park the car outside our reception hall and thats what we left in at the end of the night. Of course we also took pictures with it too!
