Ya'll feel free to share yours, Ya hear

Oh wait, ya can't, lemme turn it down.

    I'm all about the Quallity:evilsmile

*values are in RMS(continuous) (Peak is just bunk hype imo)
i've got an electronics degree, so the differentiation between these means alot to me.

    quick stats:
    2 tweets
    6 full range
    2 midbass
    1 sub

790 RMS watts (all clean and usable)
    1280 peak watts

    Head unit: Alpine 35x4
    2 - tweets on door/windshield pillars
    2 - Pioneer 2way 3 1/2" w/200Hz bass blockers mounted in factory 6x9 dash opening

    Main amp: Alpine MRP-F320 @ 40x4 + 120x1
    (4ch w/80Hz cutoff, 1ch 0-200Hz)
    2 - Alpine 2way 5 1/4" w/200hz bass blockers in front kick panels.
    2 - Kenwood 3way 6x9" w/200hz bass blockers in rear deck.
2 - Kicker 8" free-air midbass in panel on either side of rear seat.

    Sub amp: Kicker KX350.2 running @ 370x1
1 - 12" Infinity reference series. Sealed box.

each amp has a dedicated power cable and 1farad stiffening cap

Due to the use of bass blockers, this setup is as clean, crisp, and tight as it was 3 years ago. inspite of southdakota winters. each speaker handles ONLY what it SHOULD. I don't baby this setup either, it is subject to much thrashing at the hands of rock, metal, techo(esp evil to speakers),and many others. The definition, spatial definition, spectrum balence, and "blanket effect" are all great.
i wish ya'll could hear some pink floyd on it.

    later, matt:cool:

My old ears wouldnt be worth spending that kind of money on. Keep playing music as loud as the younger croud does, and their ears will be old soon.

Reel to reel tape decks just take up too much room on the dash, I suppose! :D

First off hell yea on the jethro tull. i love your music choice

second, your amp for your infinity sub is not big enough. I have an infinity 12 and i had an amp rated at 1200 which i know when i bridged it was only truely pushing around 800 or maybe a little more but that still wasnt even enough. when you under power the subs, they vibrate and it actually hurts the speaker. you need more power pushing it than the 375 or what you said you have. on that note. when you are running a lot of power that is needed for these subs, its not really a good idea to be running them without a capacitor. if you really want to do it the right way, get yourself a good amp with a lot more power than the one you have and run a cap or two. just safer and it will sound alot better not to mention save your sub in the long run. if its too loud just turn it down on the amp or the head unit.
