I may need one too, my stealth intake is a lot taller than my edelbrock... I like it...

Been doing a lot over the last few days including, finished converting e-brake to "between the seats" instead of under dash, installed carpet, reinstalled seats, made leather e-brake boot and aluminum bezels for it and shifter, installed shifter and made a shift knob, and just got it fired up yesterday for the first time in 6 months... Tip, if your using a mechanical fuel pump preload the carb bowls, really helps.

Comet wouldn't stay on, took the carb off and put another one on since its been sitting. No go, rechecked the dizzy. Took it out and rechecked TDC, no go. Added a gal of gas just in case. Nope.... Figured out my MSD box took a dump. Weird part is I sent it in about a year ago to get rebuilt and its had maybe 10 min total run time. Also chipped a tooth on my new mini starter. Went back to the 5.0 style starter.

Well Moneymaker, I started the air cleaner :) all primed in lacquer. Most work today was on the Mustang and a rear quarter on the Maverick.

This is the start, another sanding and priming and then paint :D

Then I went outside to the post man delivering a fuel cell, and two 6 point Sparco harnesses. Found a plate, bent up the sides and punched a few long bolts through it in the holley 2 bbl pattern, threaded nuts on to it so I can rest the carb about 4 inches above the plate. Then drilled a hole into the center so when the carb isnt up there I can rest the dizzy in it.

Ordered more parts, took my dizzy apart, and started recurving it. Turning my reluctor arm into a 8L...

Also grabbed a spare piece of paper and mapped out the ignition timing goals at various RPM/Loads to make sure it would work as planned

Got the new brake light switch in and also got the driver side bucket seat mounted. The seats are out of a 1990 Mustang and are pretty comfortable. Hopefully the passenger seat will get fab'd and mounted next weekend.

My Son and I, stripped as many good parts as we could from the parts car. Not much left that isn't completely rusted away.
