window glass retainer clips

    I purchased the replacement retainer clips from RPS but I'm puzzled how they fit. The original ones are flush on the side towards the interior. What am I missing? They should be easy . . .

    Did you push or pull out the center pin?

    there was one missing on this car. Someone had laced a leather bootlace through and knotted it. Clearly not right :) The new clip pushes in, either end, but it does not "clip" or hold tight.

    Thank you so much. I feel really dumb, because I couldn't even see that the center was a button. It looked like a solid piece, which wasn't right. Now, to get it back together. Thanks again everyone.
